Choral Music Summer Camp
Date: 1st – 5th July 2019
Venue: St Canice’s Cathedral
St Canice’s Cathedral is running a choral music summer camp for children aged 8 to 12.
from July 1st – 5th.
The children will get great voice and musical training and at the end they will sing at the Choral Eucharist on Sunday, July 7th.
You think choral music id for old fogeys? Don’t forget Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Britney Spears and many others started out as choristers.
Kilkenny Country Music Festival
Date: 14th July 2019
Venue: Gowran park Racecourse
Featuring the best of country music in Ireland, the Festival takes place in the grounds of Gowran Park. As well as the music there are activities for children, dancing, bars and restaurants.
The line up at Kilkenny Country Music Festival 2019 includes Mike Denver, Patrick Feeney, Trudi Lalor, Michael English, Jimmy Buckley and Cliona Hagan with The Conquerors.

Bob Dylan and Neil Young
Date: 14th July 2019
Venue: Nowlan Park
These two legends play at Nowlan Park to a capacity audience This event hasbeen sold out long ago and accommodation in the area is fully booked. The chances of getting a ticket or accommodation at this stage is almost zero.

The Villagers at Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre
Date: 20th July 2019
Venue: Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre
The Villagers will perform some tracks from their new album The Art Of Pretending To Swim.
Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre is a fantastic stunning outdoor venue at the foot of the old Ballykeeffe Quarry in Kilmanagh and has become a popular venue for a host of great performers.
Horse Racing at Gowran Park
Date: 27th July 2019
Venue: Gowran Park
This Saturday meeting has a card of good flat races and it is also Ladies Day so you can expect lots of glamour, fashion, hats and heels.
